Perhaps my favorite piece that I've ever created, La Mirada is a massive animal portrait that radiates grace and poise through each detailed brushstroke (and there are a lot of them). Modern art can be challenging, and this was no exception. However, over the course of hundreds of hours I am so proud of how this elegant piece of contemporary art turned out!
This 5-canvas oil and acrylic piece is truly a work of love. If you have any interest in this piece, as of many of mine, you need a lot of space; a space to make a statement. This male lion is always watching, giving him the name "La Mirada". To own this piece you need at least 30"x 60" worth of space, maybe more if you want to space it out more.
