This painted animal portrait is crafted with acrylic paint and so far is one of my favorite pieces of modern art to date. While this, and all my animal portraits, tend to have a traditional and simple aesthetic, there is always a contemporary touch. You can see where modern-meets-traditional where the impressionism meets crisp detail, the dark meets light, and the monochromatic nature of the piece meets color.
